This appetizer brings back so many memories! As I was growing up, we had these bacon wrapped sausages at almost every family celebration that I can remember. We still make these sausages every Christmas, along with all of our other favorite finger foods. Everyone loves them, they’re just so addicting! The brown sugar caramelizes over the bacon, creating an amazing sweet and savory treat!
These Bacon Wrapped Sausages are such an easy party food and they’ll be a hit at your next gathering!
Bacon Wrapped Sausages 6-8 servings
- beef little smokies sausages (1 package)
- bacon (1 package)
- 2 cups brown sugar
- toothpicks
Slice bacon strips into lengths that are just long enough to wrap around sausages.
Wrap each sausage in a short strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Line sausages up in a baking dish (separate slightly so that bacon can cook).
Sprinkle brown sugar generously over sausages, giving them a good and even coating. Bake at 400F for 45 minutes. Let cool for several minutes before serving.
Let me know if you give these a try! What is your favorite appetizer or finger food to serve or to take to parties?

This looks yummy. I have a friend who brings bacon-wrapped water chestnuts to every party. He dips them in homemade barbecue sauce before broiling. It’s a hit. Everyone loves it.
That sounds so delicious!
