Parmesan Crusted Baked Potatoes

Parmesan Crusted Baked Potatoes

I’ve just found my new favorite potato recipe! I’m honestly not much of a potato fan, but I do try to make them frequently for my husband. I came across this recipe (here) and had to give it a try. We both loved it!

When they come out of the oven, these potatoes are soft and buttery, topped with a deliciously crispy parmesan crust. Serve these Parmesan Crusted Potatoes as a side dish or an appetizer!

  • 6 small potatoes
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • grated parmesan cheese
  • garlic salt
  • freshly ground pepper

Preheat oven to 400F. Scrub potatoes well, then dry. Slice potatoes in half.

Melt butter and pour it into a 9″ x 13″ pan. Sprinkle a very generous layer of parmesan cheese over the melted butter layer. Add a light sprinkle of garlic salt and pepper. Place all potato halves, face down, into the pan.

Bake for 35-40 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing potatoes from the pan, so the parmesan crust won’t separate from the potatoes.

A side of sour cream or ranch dressing would be delicious with these potatoes, especially if you’re serving them as appetizers!

  1. I think I used too much butter and not enough parmesan. No crust on mine, but they were still yummy! I shall change it up next time.

  2. OMG. So delish. My family loves baked potatoes but I never have an hour to cook them. This cuts the time in half. I mixed panko breadcrumbs with the parm cheese. Great crunch. Thank you thank you thank you. Joy
