I’ve been on a little hummus kick recently. Roasted red pepper hummus was the first hummus flavor that I ever tried. It was the single-serving kind that came with pita chips in the same package. In case you haven’t already guessed, homemade is way better! I love the flavor that fresh roasted peppers add to this hummus. Avocado Hummus

I really like hummus but I’ve never made any myself. It’s so simple, I’m not sure why I didn’t do this sooner! Hummus is a healthy snack, or a great appetizer for summer parties and barbecues. It’s also completely vegetarian! I chose to make hummus with avocado, I love the taste and texture that the avocado added to this recipe.
