Peppermint White Chocolate Pretzels

Peppermint White Chocolate Pretzels

I love peppermint everything at this time of the year! My husband and I had a Chick-fil-a date on Monday to celebrate the return of their Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake… Starbucks’ Peppermint White Chocolate Mochas are the best… and these Peppermint White Chocolate Pretzels are one of my favorite holiday treats! I love their simple salty-sweetness, with a hint of mint. They’re also the simplest Christmas treat to make.

  • pretzels
  • white chocolate chips
  • peppermints

Unwrap peppermint candies and place them into a ziplock bag. Use a rolling pin or the flat side of a meat tenderizer to crush the candy.

Pour chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat until most of the chips are melted. Stir to melt any remaining bits of chocolate.

Lay out a piece of parchment (or wax) paper. Use a fork to dip the pretzels into the chocolate, gently tap the fork against the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate. Place dipped pretzels onto parchment paper.

Sprinkle pretzels with crushed peppermint before the chocolate has a chance to dry.

For a drizzled chocolate effect: dip pretzels, then let dry before drizzling chocolate over them.

Let pretzels set for at least an hour, then store in an airtight container.

What holiday flavors do you look forward to every year?

I would like this twice if I could! ;) These sound so yummy! I love Starbucks’ Peppermint White Chocolate Mochas, but my fave is a White Mint Condition at Caribou. :D

These look lovely! If it wasn’t so hot here in Australia I think I’d hang them on the Christmas tree as an edible festive decoration! Yum. Gorgeous idea Shae! x
